308 is a great caliber. In my eyes there are way too many calibers out there now. Seems everyone has to have a 6.5 Creedmoor. Back in the day all we used was 3006, 308 or 30-30 and a few others. They did exceptional and did the job Perfect. I have built a few 308's on Mauser receivers and amazing round. I have been actually looking at buying a Bergara barreled action and finishing it with my own parts to complete it. Expensive and awesome rifles.I’m gearing up for the season with my Bergara B-14 Ridge, and I’ve got it chambered in .308 Win. It’s been a reliable tack driver for me. It’s super accurate and pairs perfectly with my Federal Premium’s 165gr Trophy Bonded Tip. I love the knockdown power it brings, and it performs like a champ even when I'm pushing through some thick brush.
