I've always stuck with red dot sights on my pistols, but I'm thinking about switching things up with a green dot on my latest one. Do you think it's a smart move to mix both colors across different guns? Is there some kind of advantage in using red and green together?

I’ve recently started mixing red and green dots on my pistols, and I think it’s a pretty clever move especially for different shooting environments. I’ve always been a red dot kind of guy on my Glocks, but when I tried out a green dot on my P320, I was genuinely surprised at how much quicker I picked it up in bright daylight. It just stands out so much better against natural backgrounds like grass or dirt.

I've noticed that red dots work really well in low-light conditions, but when you're out in bright daylight, they can sometimes get lost against the background, especially in a bustling city. That’s where a green dot truly stands out quite literally! Green is simply easier for our eyes to see in bright sunlight, which is great when you need to spot a target quickly.
