What’s Your Bedroom Gun?

Hey everyone, I'm curious about what you all keep in your bedrooms for home defense. Do you have a specific gun you keep close for peace of mind, and how do you store it? Any tips on lighting or safes to keep it secure?

Locked & loaded in an easy accessed pistol safe beside my bed, I keep my S&W SD9 2.0. While I have other guns that I actually like better, the SD9 is my least expensive yet still very reliable pistol and God forbid if I actually have to use it, I know the Commie state of MD will confiscate it while they "investigate" and I don't want to lose a more expensive gun.
