What’s something you didn’t truly appreciate until you grew up? It’s amazing how life experiences can shift our views on things we once took for granted.

AR's!!! Growing up they were Self Soiling Jammomatic Poodle Shooters. Now I have them in multiple calibers and configurations.

Learning as you go as I collected military surplus rifles and bought books back in the day to study and learn so much about them. It takes time to get knowledge. Now you have the internet and phone to do a quick check or find something. Back when I was growing up you had to go to a library or book store and research before you bought something new you never saw. Its much easier now.

For sure John. Used to have the typical 5.56 or 223. Then the conversion kits for 22LR came out and were so high. Now you can get about any caliber upper for the AR platform. For any type of hunting also. I have 6.8SPC , 7.62X39, 458 SOCOM and more. Some are costly to shoot but fun to hunt.

Back in my younger days, I didn’t pay much attention to ARs. They were just another rifle that people liked to argue over. But as I matured and spent time getting to know the platform, I began to see the beauty in its modularity and versatility. Nowadays, I often find myself changing uppers, adjusting setups, and really enjoying how you can customize an AR for any role you need.
