The session where I caught my strong hand thumb doing something weird

I wasn't even looking for a problem when I found this one. My thumb was riding the slide, not badly enough to cause an actual malfunction, just enough to slow the return to battery slightly and only every so often, which is exactly the kind of thing that hides from you in real time.

Slow motion video caught it instantly. At 120 frames per second, something invisible at full speed turned into something completely obvious, my thumb sitting just a little too close to the slide on certain reps and not others. I've started filming more sessions in slow motion now, just to see what else might be hiding at a speed I can't actually watch.

What's something about your own technique you suspect might only show up on camera?

Once I filmed myself shooting, mostly as a joke, and stopped laughing pretty quick. There are things you just can’t feel while shooting fast but they show up clear as day on camera.
