Knife forging

I'm really excited to try my hand at forging knives. What are the must-have tools that I should have as a beginner? Also, do you have any recos for a good gas forge for someone just starting out? I’d really appreciate any tips you can share.

Vevor has some really solid options for not a lot of money. Good enough to start with and the burners can be reused once you figure out what you want to use

You need a forge and can get them reasonable now. Gas or propane... Also need an anvil which are not too cheap if you find a nice old one. Quench pans.. Also forging tools like various hammers and tongs, gloves, face shields and definitely a cutting rig. Also drill press and grinders and table top belt sanders. These actually are your needed tools at minimum to start.
