Wondering if there is any store nearby that handles reloading supplies. Powder, primers, bullets. Ordering powder is cost prohibited due to the "hazmat' cost

I usually get lucky at Bass Pro. They were pretty well stocked 2 weeks ago. If I'm seriously looking for stuff a road trip to Richmond between Bass Pro and Green Top I can score what I need.

You might want to shop around. I have ordered from a couple of different places, that wasn't to. Like $20 feet for 4 tins of #10 caps. While others, the fee was more than the order for a couple of pounds of powder.

Bass Pro. Clyde's also has some stuff but he isn't cheap. If you need something in a pinch, it's worth calling.

I'd second Green Top and Shyda's.

BassPro does have stuff, but they aggravate me so bad I avoid doing business with them.

FWIW, I was in Clydes a few weeks back and they are out of the reloading business. Only had about 300 oddball bullets left on the shelf, no powder, no primers.

Some online suppliers will discount/decline hazmat fees for a minimum order. Others have promos from time to time that include free shipping and/or hazmat. Another way to save money ordering online is to split an order and hazmat fees with a buddy.

I also have good success buying at gun shows. Richmond, Chantilly, York and Harrisburg shows usually have decent vendors.
