Has anyone tried tuning a Browning BAR .300 Win Mag that has a brake? I’m looking for some solid ideas or methods that can actually improve accuracy.

The ammo selection was the difference maker for me. I found that 180grain loads really helped tighten my groups compared to lighter bullets. I also had better results after I upgraded to a more solid optic mount since the recoil was causing the cheaper mounts to come loose even with the brake.

Sit down at a 100yd range with a variety of ammo and start shooting groups. Mine prefers heavier bullets but every gun is different.
