Did you try contacting your FFL?
I totally get how frustrating this can be, especially when you’re just trying to stick to the process and make plans around it. I wouldn’t stress too much just yet, but it’s definitely true that the system seems more sluggish than it used to be. If you’re still in a bind after day 7, maybe touch base with your dealer or give MSP a call. It could help speed things up a bit, or at least give you some peace of mind.

My last 3 handgun purchases have said pending through day 6 and then the morning of day 7 I get the not disapproved email.
I do not understand MD's gun laws, you have to have an HQL or CCP to purchase a handgun and then still have to wait 7 days... TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!

I dont see it getting better or more sensible for us gun owners and buyers. They have been talking about removing the HQL nonsense and state police issuing the number or code to buy a handgun. Its all to disrupt us and cause us to say hell with it and not buy. Remember the people that make these bills and laws hate guns and dont own them. They have no schooling at all on firearms or how they work or used for or anything.

The only hope we have for any change in MD's laws is if the Supreme Court intervenes and finds waiting periods unconstitutional
