Curious what everyone throws on when heading to the range. Not talking full-on gear setups — just regular clothes.

I've been out a few times recently and started paying more attention to what folks are wearing. One thing I've noticed: camo kind of sticks out in a weird way, especially if you're just doing basic drills or running a few mags through the rifle. Not knocking it — wear what you want — but it feels a little over-the-top to me unless you're out in the woods.

I've been leaning toward neutral stuff: jeans, plain shirt, boots. Something that's comfortable, safe (no sandals obviously), and doesn't scream 'tacticool.' I like to blend in a bit, you know?

Anyone else feel that way? Or am I just overthinking it? What do you guys usually wear? Any suggestions or things you've learned about range attire?

T-shirt, shorts or jeans, sneakers or comfortable boots, and a ball cap is everyday and everything attire. Dress shirt, black jeans, and cowboy boots for "fancy" wear. Of course my attire attitude drives my wife crazy, but she picks her battles too. 😀

Wranglers (wear no other brand), a shirt (type depends on weather), New Balance (not getting my good boots get messed up), and a jacket (if needed). Normally wear a western style hat but at the range I wear a cap (so my earmuffs fit over it). Gloves are optional. I wore cammo for most of my my life from 1959 to 1997. No hurry to get back into them.
